CINEMATIC PORTRAIT REVEAL & ORDERING SESSION
About a week following your portrait session you will return to the studio to view and order your portraits. During this time, you will have the opportunity to purchase the portraits you like.
The chance to be featured on our Socials and in our Studio Gallery.

STUDIO MCBURNEY IS A RENOWNED BLACK AND WHITE PORTRAIT STUDIO BASED IN COUNTY ANTRIM, NORTHERN IRELAND.
WE ARE 45 MINS DRIVE FROM BELFAST AND LOCATED JUST OFF THE MAIN A26 BETWEEN BALLYMONEY AND BALLYMENA.
CAN I BUY THE PHOTOGRAPHS?
Of course! While there’s absolutely no obligation to buy any of the portraits, you will have a fun and very special viewing session here in the Studio one week after your shoot where you look at your stunning portraits. Should you fall head over heels (which we’re pretty sure you will) with any of your portraits, we’ll help guide you through the options, ensuring the best fit for you and your family. At that time, you can apply your gift certificate toward any purchase.
Our artwork starts at £495; and most clients typically spend £700 and up on their selected portraits.
How Do I Book My Session?
To book your session, please fill out our short form below. We’ll review it quickly and get in touch with you via WhatsApp and Email. We schedule all of our sessions after a short phone call to confirm we’re a good fit and to select your session and reveal dates. Sessions are limited and are being scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to respond quickly if we contact you.

Our Studio is off the main A26 road between Ballymoney and Ballymena in the heart of the County Antrim countryside, just past Logans of Cloughmills and close to the beautiful North Coast. Most of our clients drive 30 minutes to 2 hours to come and see us, and often make a day of it here because we are so close to the beautiful beaches at Portrush, Busmills, Giants Causeway etc. Our physical address is: 47 Lisboy Road, Kilraghts, Ballymoney, County Antrim, BT53 8NG

No, we are looking for REAL mothers and children for our portfolios. Our clients are real people so we prefer to show real people in our exhibit. We’d love to be able to share the many faces of Motherhood.

Yes Absolutely! We encourage you to bring along other important family members, like a spouse if applicable, or grandparents.

We block out an hour for your appointment. A standard session takes approximately 30 minutes, depending on the number of people in the family and if there is an outfit change. We prefer to do two “looks” or outfits as part of our projects.

Unfortunately in the past when we offered complimentary sessions without any confirmation fee, we experienced many late cancellations and no shows. We now require a £100 nonrefundable confirmation fee to book your time on the studio’s calendar. You can choose to apply it towards your order.

No need to worry! Once your session is booked, we’ll send you ideas on what to wear and what works best in black & white and with our studio’s signature style. You can also read our blog post on What to Wear here.

One of our dedicated designers will review your portraits with you here in the Studio within 1-2 weeks after your session, allowing you to experience and reflect on the beauty of your family using our fun and efficient selection process and unique software. As you select your favourite portraits and presentations that best suit your home, aesthetic and budget, we’ll help you to feel confident in your ordering decisions.
All orders are placed and taken care of at this meeting as on-line postings and printed proofs to take home are not available. The Portrait Viewing & Design Consultation is often described as one of our clients’ favourite and most memorable parts of working with us. Please review the Artwork Section of our website to see some of our most popular artwork for our clients.
An important note: If you are married or partnered, both you and your spouse or partner will not want to miss this Appointment. Why is this? In most relationships, both members tend to like having at least some input (either financial or aesthetic) in the selection process. It’s also emotional, and happy tears can and do often happen. (Bring tissues, just in case!) Too many times, we have heard extreme regret when a partner has not been able to attend so while it is not required, it is strongly encouraged. Second appointments are expensive and can be challenging to accommodate as we are a boutique studio that is booked to a limited capacity so that we may serve our clients at the highest levels of attention and detail.
